Welcome to the Music D' Circus

Yesterday evening I went to see the Boston Pops which was conducted by THEE JOHN WILLIAMS!!!!!! It was so surreal to believe I was near the man who inspired me to play the flute and also created some of the world’s best Movie soundtracks. It was Spectacular! Even though I got home at 12:30-ish, I still really had a lot of fun and I appreciated all the things John Williams has done for this country in his 13 years of conducting the Boston Pops and 40 years with Steven Spielberg.

Before the performance, our band teacher (best ever) let us shop at the Prudential Mall where I went to Barnes and Noble. My oh MY did I have a heart attack! I was going to the CD section to get a Green Day CD when I stumbled upon a British Television section (because I was looking for Doctor Who and Monty Plython). There, was a whole collection of all doctor who episodes, even the OLD ones!!! I was speechless. I wanted so badly to buy them all, but I scurried off to the cash register with my Edgar Allan Poe collection and Feather Pen Set and “Shenanigans” CD so I wouldn’t be tempted to spend the rest of my money. At the cash register, I look around, and what do I see? I see even MORE Doctor Who episodes on display. I needed to get out before spending too much.

I said to my partner that if I won 1 Million dollars, that I’d buy ALL of those. They are VERY hard to stumble upon now a days. They were tres cher, 1 2-disc set from ‘74-‘81 cost $100!!!!!  

That was my day yesterday!

To my fellow Whovians… Did anyone else just see Rihanna come out of the Pandorica on American Idol? Seriously, is that the Pandorica from season 5?
